Kai is an award-winning writer and Los Angeles-based standup comedian who performs at comedy clubs, bars, and sketchy basements across the country. Kai's Curb Your Enthusiasm spec won second place in the sitcom category of the 2021 Scriptapalooza TV Writing Competition and is in the Top 10% of all projects on Coverfly. His short Pinged was a Semifinalist in the Filmmatic Horror Screenplay Awards and the Big Apple Film Festival Screenplay Competition. He has been featured in publications such as Playboy (not THAT way), Paste, Vulture and his comedy writing has been published in Reductress, McSweeney's, and Autostraddle. Kai is also the creator, producer and host of cult favorite true-crime comedy podcast.
